Unexpectedly, Respawn, and EA announced their decision to shut down Apex Legends Mobile, the award-winning battle royale game. Although the game was named Game of the Year by both the App Store and Google Play, the team behind the title announced that it fell short in terms of quality, quantity, and cadence. The developers announced this on the game's official website.

The news came as a huge shock to mobile gamers who were eagerly waiting for the release of the game. Apex Legends Mobile has been in the works for months and was expected to be a major hit in the mobile gaming market.

The game was praised for its unique Battle Royale mechanic, which allowed players to engage in intense Battle Royales with up to 100 players. The game also featured a lot of customization options, allowing players to customize their characters and weapons.

However, the game's launch was met with mixed reviews. While some praised the game for its unique mechanics, there were some complaints about the game's performance and lag. There was also criticism of the game's monetization model, which some players felt was too aggressive. Despite this, the game still managed to be recognized as the game of the year in both the App Store and Google Play.

It's a shame that Apex Legends Mobile will be shut down forever. The game had a lot of potentials to become a major hit in the mobile gaming market, but unfortunately, it failed to live up to expectations. We can only hope that Respawn and EA will continue to develop great titles for mobile gamers in the future.
